Crawford University physical resumption date after Christmas and New Year break has been announced.

The management of Crawford University has published a circular informing parents and students of the institution of the date for the physical resumption of academic activities on Campus.

Sequel to the recent approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) vides Memorandum Ref. No. NUC/ES/138/Vol. 63/153 dated 6th January 2021, on the resumption of academic activities in Nigerian universities, the Vice-Chancellor has approved, on behalf of Senate, the physical resumption of students in the University on Monday, January 18, 2021. Students are therefore directed to return to campus on the said date. Late resumption will not be condoned.

For the avoidance of doubt, First Semester lectures of the 2020/2021 academic session which were resorted to, and conducted via on-line mode since January 4, 2021, continue physically from Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

In view of the insidious Covid-19 pandemic, all students, staff and visitors to the University are to comply strictly with the recommended safety protocols such as wearing of face masks, social/physical distancing, use of hand sanitisers. In addition, all motorists and their passengers are required to undergo temperature screening and hand sanitizing at the University main entrances and other safety measures, both at the entrances and within the University campus.
